After revealing their first hybrid motorcycle, a few months back, Kawasaki has now introduced the Z 7 Hybrid at EICMA 2023.
Kawasaki Z 7 Hybrid – Design & Color Option
Staying true to Kawasaki’s Sugomi design philosophy seen across their streetfighter lineup, the Z 7 showcases an aggressive front, featuring a low-slung LED headlamp and sporty lines throughout. Notably, it appears a tad bulkier compared to its traditional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) counterparts. Color options include a white-green combo or a grey-black combo.
Engine & Power Configuration
The new Hybrid Z 7 shares the same 451cc parallel-twin engine with the Ninja 7 and incorporates a 9kW traction motor. This naked bike delivers 58bhp and approximately 12km of electric range before seamlessly transitioning to the combustion engine for recharging. Additionally, it boasts an Eco-Hybrid mode, offering a blend of electric and combustion power, allowing riders to opt for manual or automatic gearshifts. Manual shifts are executed through the left handlebar switch without a clutch lever.
Z 7 Hybrid India Launch
While Kawasaki’s hybrid motorcycle series is set to hit international markets soon, there’s no indication yet about a potential launch in India.
