Nothing’s CMF is poised to enter the smartphone market with the launch of the CMF Phone 1. Alongside this, the CMF Watch Pro 2 and CMF Buds Pro 2 will also be unveiled on July 8. CMF Phone 1 – All details:
Price in India (Expected)
The CMF Phone 1 is anticipated to be the most budget-friendly handset from Nothing, potentially priced under Rs 20,000. Rumors indicate a possible price of Rs 16,999. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart in India.
Design & Display
Unlike other models in the Nothing lineup, the CMF Phone 1 will not feature a transparent design or the GLYPH interface. Teasers suggest it will come in four colours: Black, Orange, Light Green and Blue. The rear panel is likely to have two different finishes. Blue and Orange colour have the vegan leather finish & Black 7 Light Green colour have the Poly-Carbonate finish. And it features a unique knob and multiple screws, although their functions are currently unclear. Additionally, the SIM ejector tool will include a built-in screwdriver.
The CMF Phone 1 will boast a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and a color depth of over 1 billion colors. The front camera will be housed in a centered punch-hole notch, and the display will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Performance & Battery
This handset will debut the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, equipped with 8GB of RAM and support for an additional 8GB of extended RAM. Additionally, rumors suggest the CMF Phone 1 will include LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Also, it scored 1016 in single-core and 2630 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6. The Dimensity 7300, built using TSMC’s 4nm process, features a Mali-G615 GPU, four Cortex-A78 performance cores (up to 2.5GHz), and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. Furthermore, this setup enables Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and dual 5G connectivity.
A 5000mAh battery will power the CMF Phone 1, claimed to provide up to 2 days of battery life and up to 22 hours of continuous YouTube playback. The device is rumored to support 33W fast charging.
Phone 1: Cameras
The CMF Phone 1 will feature a dual-rear camera setup. The primary camera will be a 50MP Sony sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and 2x in-sensor zoom. A 2MP portrait sensor will accompany it for natural bokeh effects. Advanced algorithms like Ultra XDR will enhance photo brightness and immersion, regardless of lighting conditions. A 16MP front camera is also expected.
CMF Buds Pro 2: All Details
The CMF Buds Pro 2 will feature a 60mAh battery. It is anticipated to include a 50dB Hybrid ANC for superior noise cancellation. Moreover, the buds will offer dual drivers designed to deliver HiFi sound, providing enhanced and detailed audio. Also, they are expected to come with ChatGPT integration, adding an intelligent assistant for users.
CMF Watch Pro 2: All Details
The CMF Watch Pro 2 will feature a circular display with the CMF signature Orange-coloured band. It will have an aluminum alloy body for a refined finish. And it will be customizable in both function and design, allowing users to create personalized watch faces. It features a 295mAh battery. In Addition, it will include Bluetooth, GPS Galileo, GLONASS, and more. It will be available in shades of Ash Grey, Dark Grey, Blue and Orange colours. The Watch Pro 2 will debut in India, as well as in the UK, the US, Canada, Japan, and Australia.
