IQOO CEO Nipun Marya has officially revealed the launch date for the iQOO 12 in India today. According to a poster shared by the CEO, the iQOO 12 is set to make its debut in the Indian market on December 12. This highly anticipated smartphone will succeed the iQOO 11. It’s worth noting that the iQOO 12 will be powered by Qualcomm‘s recently unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, as previously confirmed by iQOO CEO Nipun Marya. Prior to its India launch, the device will be officially unveiled in China on November 7.

The iQOO 12 is all set to be available for purchase in India through Amazon. The company’s teaser image has given us a glimpse of the prominent rear camera module, matching the previously leaked renders of the device.
In terms of specifications, the iQOO 12 is anticipated to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Recent Geekbench results have shown that it could come with up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to be offered in 256GB and 512GB storage configurations and will run Android 14 with iQOO’s Funtouch OS 14 skin in India.
For photography enthusiasts, the iQOO 12 is likely to feature a triple-camera setup, which includes a 50MP OmniVision OV50H primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens.
To keep you going all day, the device is rumored to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and will support fast charging of up to 120W, as confirmed by the recent 3C certification. Gamers can look forward to an enhanced gaming experience with the inclusion of a Q1 e-sports chip.
